Christmas Comes Early with Dawsons Music's Gift of a Saxophone
When The Children's Trust in Tadworth, Surrey put out a heartfelt plea through the popular social networking platform Twitter requesting a donation of a saxophone, Dawsons Music came to the rescue.

WARRINGTON, ENGLAND, December 17, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- When The Children's Trust in Tadworth, Surrey put out a heartfelt plea through the popular social networking platform Twitter requesting a donation of a saxophone, leading musical instrument retailer Dawsons Music replied right away.

The Children's Trust needed a Sax to help the children and young people with multiple disabilities and complex health needs, as Dawsons music currently has 11 stores and an healthy online presence selling all things musical from, Les Paul guitars to the Saxophone in question, they were more than happy to lend a helping hand.

Gary Bond, Dawsons Sales Director, and Paul McManus, Chief Executive of Music for All, paid a special festive visit to donate a brand-new beautiful saxophone.

The young lady who inspired the request, Catherine, is currently receiving brain injury rehabilitation at the Trust. As part of her multidisciplinary therapy programme, she is starting to re-learn the clarinet and dreams of one day playing the sax. As the trust currently did not have one, the Trust's music therapists Claire Wood and Victoria Brock were over the mood when Dawsons Music came to the rescue.

The Children's Trust is a national charity, providing care, education and therapy for children with multiple disabilities and complex health needs. They also have a rehabilitation program for children with an acquired brain injury.

Claire Wood said: "We can't thank Dawsons enough for their kind donation. From the look on Catherine's face when she was presented the saxophone on behalf of the Trust, you can see the difference that it will make."
