Josh Hisle Announces New Album On Heels of Fall Tour with Stephen Stills
Singer-Songwriter, Josh Hisle, announced today that he will release an album of solo material this year on the heels of current tour with Rock legend Stephen Stills and recent release of CSNY's classic, Ohio with Ryan Kralik, Rick Rosas, Dave Krusen.

ANNAPOLIS, MD, October 21, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Josh Hisle announced today that He will be releasing a solo album of new material by year's end.   Following up 2010's "Whiskey at Home", which received critical acclaim in the US and Europe and saw Hisle's touring and media schedule more than double in a matter of weeks, this collection of works will be a departure from albums past.  "Fans of the last record are going to really love this one. I've played some songs for a few friends so far and there's a new song on the "Ohio" single and everyone seems to really like it. I'm doing more and more songs by myself and that's how the Stills tour has been. Just me, my guitar and the audience", Hisle recently commented in an interview for Rolling Stone.

Hisle, a 2 tour Marine Corp veteran of the Iraq War, became a touchstone in the world of Roots, Folk Rock music after being recruited by Neil Young to star in the protest documentary, CSNY Deja Vu which chronicled the 2006 CSNY tour.  In 2007 Warner Bros / Vapor Records signed Lost In Holland, Hisle's group consisting of himself and World Renowned Cellist, Michael G. Ronstadt.  Hisle and Ronstadt would go on to tour the US and Canada for the next 4 years playing high-profile gigs like The Bridge School Benefit Concert, South By Southwest (SXSW) and New England's annual Common Ground Music Festival.  Earlier this year Lost In Holland announced that they were separating to focus on new endeavors and their solo careers. "We needed to go do our own thing for a while. 4 years in a van is a long time. We both wanted to do more of our own thing and were getting offers to collaborate elsewhere and just decided it was about time to give that a rest for a while", Hisle stated in a recent blog interview.

Among Hisle's recent collaborations is a joint single release of the classic CSNY protest anthem, "Ohio" which he released with Ryan Kralik, a Kent, Ohio native and longtime friend and collaborator. For the effort, they recruited the legendary Rick Rosas to play bass and multi-platinum Pearl Jam drummer, Dave Krusen. The song is currently available on iTunes and can be previewed at www.neilyoung.com.

Hisle is currently touring with Stephen Stills on his Fall US Tour and will play a string of dates on the East Coast through mid November. Press inquiries should be directed to Mark Scranton at Anatomy RGI Partners. Previews of the new album and Ohio single are available by request.
