Goa Chillout Zone Vol. 1 CD Launch Brings Together Best of Independent Music and Animal Rights Charities
W.O.A International releases compilation CD, percentage of sales go towards fight against the fur trade

Comprising of 26 world artists from both the company's record label W.O.A Records as well as unsigned acts, it's an eclectic double CD bringing together some of the very best artists in independent music today. Best of all, it's part of an extremely worthwhile cause at the same time.

"With this release, we're not only bringing original and exciting music to the public," says Wanda Alvares, Executive Vice President / Head of Marketing, "we're also giving back to a cause we believe passionately in. For every CD sold, we will give 10% of the sale to a charity that supports animal welfare, especially animal rights groups that work against the fur trade."

With the fur trade responsible for the torture and murder of over 50 million animals worldwide every year, purely for the benefit of fashion lovers, it's a business that's continuously in the news. W.O.A International recognizes that it's something that won't be changed overnight, but passionately believe that continued support in the fight against it will eventually win through.

The Goa Chillout Zone CD Vol. 1 is the first release in a planned five-volume collection. Bringing together the best that W.O.A International has to offer as well as unsigned independent artists worldwide, it includes the likes of Oliver Sean, Tiger Tiger and Cuca Moreno from W.O.A Records as well as unsigned acts like Amy Duncan, Juliet Annerino and The Green.

Such has the pre-release interest been in the first volume that W.O.A International is already planning the second one, due for release in October 2008. Artists interested in appearing on Vol.2 are encouraged to submit their songs for submission onto the collection. With 10,000 copies being pressed and distributed to Yahoo Music and iTunes as well as retailers and radio stations worldwide and top clubs at holiday destinations like Ibiza and Goa, etc, it's an excellent opportunity for unsigned artists to be heard by large audiences. Each artist selected for the CD will receive royalties and licensing fees, as well as copies for promotion.

With the Goa Chillout Zone CD Vol.1 set to be a huge success for both artists and the chosen charity and Vol.2 already in the planning stage, 2008 looks set to be a milestone year for W.O.A International. Check out the CD for yourself and find out what all the noise is about.
